Comandos de Salvamento rescuers assist a victim of a motorcycle accident.
One of the people injured in a traffic accident is admitted to a hospital.

Comandos de Salvamento, as the Holy Week vacation period is nearly over, is concerned about the increase in traffic accidents that have been recorded, leaving 23 dead and more than two hundred people injured.

These are tragedies that can be avoided by not abusing alcoholic beverages or speeding, which now bring mourning to the homes of hundreds of Salvadorans. The case early this Friday morning left two people dead on the highway leading to Monseñor Romero International Airport, near San Marcos, where Comandos de Salvamento had to use hydraulic equipment to remove the bodies.

Comandos de Salvamento maintains rescue and pre-hospital care teams on the country’s main highways, with the objective of providing rapid assistance to the victims of the accidents, which have already exceeded 300.

Therefore, Comandos de Salvamento calls on the public, and especially drivers, to observe safety regulations when driving, since the consumption of alcoholic beverages has serious consequences; speed limits must also be respected.

To date, more than 300 traffic accidents have been recorded.
More than two hundred people have been injured in road collisions.
On the highway to Monseñor Romero International Airport, two people lost their lives due to speeding, which caused them to lose control of the vehicle.
