Legislators from the Finance Committee received Comandos de Salvamento.
Guadalupe Vásquez, President of the Finance Committee.

Representatives of Comandos de Salvamento were received Tuesday afternoon by the Legislators of the Finance and Special Budget Committee of the Legislative Assembly, where they presented the financial situation affecting them following the budget cut since 2018, when 95 thousand dollars were reduced for their operations.

Hipólito Cerna, Auditor, and Roberto Cruz, Executive Director, were in charge of presenting the financial report they disclosed to the legislators of the Finance Committee, to whom they explained how the subsidy cut has greatly affected their ability to carry out ambulance-service operations.

They also raised awareness among the Legislators that Comandos de Salvamento is an organization committed to young people, keeping them away from bad paths when they join the institution as volunteers.

Comandos de Salvamento hopes that the Legislators’ promises to restore the cut and provide an increase for 2020 will be fulfilled, since this will help alleviate the financial hole caused by the increase in emergencies.

Representatives of Comandos de Salvamento presented the financial deficit to the legislators.

Legislators promised to resolve the problems facing Comandos de Salvamento.
It is hoped that the cut they suffered can be addressed for 2020.
