This morning, Dr. Melvin Fernando Laínez Berrios gave his soul to the Creator. He dedicated his time to serving the community as a Comandos de Salvamento volunteer at the branch in Berlín, Usulután.

For eleven years, the physician wore the yellow uniform to provide care to patients, as well as consultations at the Comandos de Salvamento headquarters in Berlín, where he was originally from.

He was always attentive to calls from the public, ready to serve his fellow human beings regardless of the hour or inclement weather. He dedicated his free time to wearing the Comandos uniform and, in this way, helping those most in need; he was a true hero.

Now, God has called him to join the army of volunteers in heaven.

The Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento regrets the death of Dr. Melvin Fernando Laínez Berrios and asks that a prayer be offered for his eternal rest, and for strength for his family and friends.
