Comandos de Salvamento rescuers give food to a pet.Not everything is lost in Cantón Los Angelitos 1 and 2, in Nejapa, since the hearts of several Comandos de Salvamento rescuers for the dogs and cats that have remained in the area now have food thanks to altruistic people and the company Smart Pet El Salvador.
Nearly 15 days have already passed since a landslide buried several homes in said caserío. Some dogs and cats remained at the site where their owners were evacuated to safe shelters due to the landslide.
The rescuers’ concern for feeding them reached the ears of altruistic people, who donated food for the pets, as well as the company Smart Pet El Salvador, which provided food for several days.
