Responders from Comandos de Salvamento and other emergency-response entities assist accident victims.

Three people were injured in a traffic accident reported this morning on the street that leads from Colonia La Cima to the Juagar crossing in San Salvador.

Units from Comandos de Salvamento and other emergency-response entities helped rescue the injured people who had been trapped inside a pickup truck that became wedged between the retaining wall and an electrical utility pole after being struck from behind by another vehicle.

Comandos de Salvamento volunteers removed a woman from inside the pickup truck; she had sustained trauma in the traffic accident, which caused amazement because the vehicle climbed partway up the retaining wall and ended up pressed against the electrical utility pole.

The causes of the accident are unknown at this time. However, the injured people are receiving medical care at Hospital Rosales.

Amazing how the vehicle ended up trapped on the street to La Cima.
Victims are already at Hospital Rosales.
