In Sensuntepeque, Cabañas, a wall collapse affected the home of 55-year-old Mrs. Gertrudis Esperanza Medida Fernández. Comandos de Salvamento and Bomberos from that location arrived and evacuated the woman to take her to a safer place.

The incident occurred in Barrio El Calvario, Sensuntepeque.

Comandos de Salvamento from Nejapa carried out cleanup work in the Huistimil ravine, which descends from the upper part of the volcano and once again overflowed its channel due to the obstruction of the culvert in Barrio San Antonio.

The volunteers, together with local residents, removed the debris to prevent a further tragedy.
