The Mayor of Sacacoyo, Mayra Zetino, together with the Deputies of the Department of La Libertad, Juan Carlos Flores and Romeo Auberbach, are seeking the support of Comandos de Salvamento.

Mayra Zetino, Mayor of Sacacoyo, in the Department of La Libertad, together with Deputies Romeo Auerbach and Juan Carlos Flores, met with members of the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Savaldor, with the aim of seeking support to establish a branch in that municipality.

Mayra Zetino is one of the youngest mayors and is seeking to improve the vulnerable areas of her municipality, where she has already begun carrying out mitigation works to prevent tragedies in the hamlets and cantons. For this reason, she seeks to create a branch of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, as she has seen the work carried out by volunteers in the Tepecoyo area.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador currently has 30 branches, 6 of them located in the Department of La Libertad, providing emergency services 24 hours a day with volunteer personnel.

The members of the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador committed to seeking the necessary mechanisms to establish the branch in the municipality of Sacacoyo and thus provide it with trained personnel in pre-hospital care, first aid, and an ambulance for responding to emergencies.

For Mayor Mayra Zetino and Deputies Romeo Auerbach and Juan Carlos Flores, they showed their interest and willingness to establish the branch in the coming months.

Efraín Solís, member of the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento, seeks agreements to establish the branch.
