Cheerful clowns delighted the boys and girls.
The children eagerly awaited the breaking of the piñatas.

Recently, Comandos de Salvamento from the eastern area of the country, Berlín, and Alegría brought a celebration to the children of Colonia Guevara, in the Municipio of Tecapán, in the Departamento of Usulután.

On that occasion, cheerful clowns arrived alongside Comandos de Salvamento. There was a breaking of piñatas, distribution of candy, and refreshments enjoyed by the children and adults who attended the celebration and forgot about the difficult situation they are going through due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The activity was organized by journalist David Cruz and Comandos de Salvamento veteran Alex Serrano, a resident of North Carolina, in the United States, with the support of the Berlín and Alegría delegations of Comandos de Salvamento.

The activity could be extended to other communities with limited financial resources, with contributions potentially provided by friends of veteran Alex Serrano.
