With great joy at being back in the country, the Doctors of the Americas arrived this morning alongside Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador at Cantón El Achiotal, in San Pedro Masahuat, where a medical outreach was held.

Nearly 300 people hoped to receive a consultation and obtain medicines free of charge. Women, older adults, and children benefited from the assistance provided by the Doctors of the Americas.

For 17 years, the Doctors of the Americas, led by Dr. Andrew Badulak, have traveled to El Salvador to conduct a series of medical outreaches coordinated by Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador.

Now, the health professionals hope to carry out three campaigns in different communities in the Paracentral and Eastern regions of El Salvador.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador also contributes medical professionals and nurses who are responsible for the mobile pharmacy, providing patients with medicines free of charge.

Tomorrow, residents of the Communities of San Carlos Lempa will benefit from the assistance of the Doctors of the Americas. Sthepahia Badulak is responsible for giving away clothing and footwear donated by altruistic people in the United States.
