Rescuers from the various sections approved the reforms to the institution’s bylaws.

The Board of Directors of the Asociación Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador held the general assembly where the reform of the bylaws that will govern the institution was reviewed, as required by the Law on Associations and Foundations for Nonprofit Purposes.

Its volunteers and delegates from the 30 sections gathered to begin discussing the reform of the bylaws that will govern the institution’s rules, which for more than 62 years has provided emergency services to Salvadorans.

More than 40 articles were analyzed by the Board of Directors, Executive Directorate, and Legal Department, which sought the best way to draft each article and its subsections for submission to the Ministry of Governance for approval.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador is one of the first-response institutions, whose units have maintained leadership in the field of prehospital care, as well as in vehicle and high-angle rescue, since they have hydraulic equipment for freeing people trapped in road accidents.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador is fulfilling the submission of its new bylaws in order to subsequently reform the institution’s internal regulations.
