FIRST RESPONDERS SEEK TO ADVANCE IN PRE-HOSPITAL CARE

Thirty-two first responders from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador are taking part in a training course on Pre-Hospital Care at the emergency organization’s headquarters.
The training seeks to provide each of the young volunteers with the best knowledge, some of whom are high school students studying Health, while others hope to gain greater knowledge in patient assistance in emergency situations.
The instructors, who have been certified by Health and Government authorities, seek to impart their knowledge to the first responders, most of whom are young people who provide service in the various brigades during the week.
For the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, as well as the Executive Directorate, this type of training increasingly elevates the spirit of volunteerism each day, as it is a fundamental part of their personal résumé and helps them advance to a better position within the institution.
Ayuda Popular Noruega, APN, the funding organization for this type of training, will continue supporting the instruction of each of the volunteers who, day after day, seek to serve in the emergencies that Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador attends to daily.
