COMMANDOS WITH NEW RESCUERS

Effort, dedication, courage, and sacrifice mark the new stage of 52 young rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, who completed the Vertical Rescue course, taught by highly trained personnel.

But these volunteers opened their hearts to overcome all the theoretical, practical, and physical tests to which they were subjected during five weekends, from Friday through Sunday, all thanks to funding from Norwegian People’s Aid, APN, an organization partnered with Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, to train young people every day.

Joy on each of the faces of the volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador upon receiving their grades and becoming part of the new group of vertical rescuers has been one of their achievements. Especially the young women, who surpassed the tests by far to obtain their diploma and badge, which they will now be able to wear on their uniforms.

Special thanks to the trainers, the Board of Directors, the Executive Directorate, and the altruistic individuals who supported this effort so that new generations can demonstrate and apply the knowledge acquired in their personal lives.
