Volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, Chinameca branch.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, Chinameca branch, San Miguel, held a thanksgiving Mass to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of its founding. During these years, they have provided assistance to the population both in emergencies and during the armed conflict.

Comandos de Salvamento de Chinameca has struggled to survive amid the basic needs required for the operation of its functions, since it does not have its own facility and rents homes in order to operate its emergency clinic.

For many years, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador in Chinameca fought to obtain an ambulance to help the population. However, thanks to the efforts of the Board of Directors, a vehicle was provided that, in some way, met the needs of the population, which has witnessed the arduous work of the volunteers who, despite the many needs, continue providing humanitarian service.

The current Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador is seeking ways to obtain better units for the branches it has, so it can continue with that spirit of humanitarian service to the Salvadoran population.

Celebrating 42 years of service to the population.
