30 young rescuers undergo training.

Recently, the Executive Director of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador, Roberto Cruz, officially launched the new training cycle for young volunteers representing the country’s Western Zone.

This training is focused on preparing rescuers who have already completed the initial subjects in patient care and first aid, since funding from Norwegian Popular Aid has made it possible for 30 volunteers to take the Pre-Hospital Care course.

This new knowledge aims to prepare the young people in patient treatment, as well as improve their knowledge to save lives in emergency cases that occur daily in the country, especially in traffic accidents.

The instructors are members of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador, who have already been certified by authorities specializing in the field of pre-hospital care. Thanks to this, more rescuers can acquire the necessary knowledge.

Pettenati Central America joins this effort, together with Norwegian Popular Aid, APN, and the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador, making it possible to hold ongoing training sessions for volunteers.
