Roberto Cruz, Executive Director of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, accompanies the medical campaign.

On their fourth day since arriving in the country, the Doctors of the Americas traveled this morning to the Santa Emilia Community, in Sonsonate Centro, where the third medical campaign is taking place.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador has provided part of its medical staff to support the health campaign being carried out in this community, where medical consultations are being provided, now accompanied by a specialist physician with modern equipment to perform ultrasound examinations.

Doctors of the Americas are a team of 40 people, made up of doctors, nurses, and interpreters, who provide assistance to the population, which has arrived in large numbers for free medical consultations, as well as the delivery of medications.

In addition, the U.S. health professionals led by Dr. Andrew Badulak will continue the campaigns for two more days in the eastern part of the country, in the area of Alegría, in the Department of Usulután, concluding on Wednesday in the Río Las Cañas Community, in Ilopango.
