Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento in El Salvador assisted two women early this morning who, while trying to find a bathroom, fell into an approximately 10-meter-deep ravine after enjoying the fireballs in Nejapa.

The volunteers were alerted at around three o’clock Sunday morning that the two women were looking for a bathroom on Calle La Ronda, near the small park in Nejapa, when they lost control and both fell to the bottom of the ravine.

People requested assistance from Comandos de Salvamento in El Salvador, whose rescuers, using vertical rescue techniques, stabilized the victims so they could be taken to medical centers due to the trauma they suffered in the fall.

One of them had more serious complications due to the injuries sustained after falling onto rocks at the bottom of the ravine.

Victims were admitted to different medical centers.
Both women fell to the bottom of the ravine, sustaining trauma.
Rescuers stabilize victims to begin the ascent.
