The Family Circle and the various preschools in the Municipio of Nejapa held a parade on Sunday morning in honor of national independence, traveling along several streets in the urban center.
Three children were dressed as the heroes of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador; two of them represented the Family Circle, and the third came from the preschool in Caserío El Llano.
The children’s mothers wanted to represent Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador as a show of gratitude for the commendable humanitarian work carried out by the volunteers day after day, helping others when they are in danger.
During the route, the little heroes were applauded by members of the public who came out into the streets to watch the Early Childhood Parade, which included the participation of all preschool students in the Municipio.
For this Sunday, September 15, Executive Director Roberto Cruz stated that nearly 300 Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador volunteers would attend; they would be in charge of the second block of students who participated in the National Independence Parade.
In addition, ambulances would be stationed along the parade route, which would depart from the Beethoven fountains on Paseo General Escalón and conclude at Parque Cuscatlán.
The various units of the Salvadoran Armed Force would parade in the first echelon, followed by members of the Policía Nacional Civil and the Cuerpo de Bomberos de El Salvador.
The student parade would conclude at Parque Cuscatlán, along Alameda Manuel Enrique Araujo.
