Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador served as the liaison for representatives of World Vision to deliver water-purifying filters and personal hygiene kits for children.
This activity was intended for people in the communities that were affected by Tropical Storm Sara, which affected our national territory and caused damage to the residents’ water system.
With the delivery of the filters, residents will be able to purify water for their households’ daily consumption, benefiting the health of the most vulnerable, namely children and the elderly.
The communities that benefited include Los Marranitos and others south of Zacatecoluca, where hundreds of families received the donations.
In the La Libertad area, the communities in the port were El Jute and Chinamas, which also received the hygiene kit for children and the filter.
This Monday, December 23, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador and World Vision traveled to the community of El Bado Lagarto, in the district of Ciudad Dolores, in the Department of Cabañas,
The children’s hygiene kits, as well as the water filters, have been delivered to families in the communities affected by Tropical Storm Sara, and this assistance is thanks to World Vision and Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador.
