This post is also available in: Spanish Norwegian Bokmål French Chinese (Simplified) Japanese

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador assisted a national tourist who was on the verge of drowning. Members of the Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador lifeguard unit rescued a national tourist at noon who was on the verge of drowning at Los Blancos Beach, in La Paz.

The Comandos de Salvamento volunteers provide services with water-rescue and pre-hospital personnel ready for any emergency. The turbulent waters dragged the tourist away, so he was rescued by the water-rescue specialists.

Rescuers stabilized the victim and took him to the aid station, where specialized personnel managed to ensure his safety before he was taken to a medical center.

As of this Holy Saturday, the Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador lifeguards have carried out more than 15 deep-water and basic rescues at the various beaches, where they ensure that vacationers are not carried away by ocean currents.

The closing of the Rescue Operation @alertacomandos #SalvaTuVida will continue through this Resurrection Sunday, when both the lifeguards and rescuers assigned to the aid stations will continue their services until five in the afternoon, keeping the advanced vehicle-rescue units operational until part of the night.
