EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMANDOS REELECTED

During an ordinary session, members of the new Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador reelected Mr. Roberto Orlando Cortez Cruz as executive director for a two-year term (2025-2027).

Roberto Cruz, as he is known, has belonged to the institution since his youth, when he joined as a lifeguard volunteer in the 1980s. He has risen through the ranks thanks to training, managing to improve himself until assuming responsibilities within Comandos de Salvamento.

He has served as executive director for more than a decade and will continue his arduous work at the helm of Comandos de Salvamento, which this year reaches its 65th anniversary of founding.

Rubia Palacios de Clímaco, president of the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, swore in Roberto Cruz on Saturday morning so that he may continue in the position of executive director.
