WOMAN’S BODY FOUND IN GUAZAPA

Volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, Aguilares branch, were alerted to the discovery of a body inside a sugarcane field near kilometer 37 of the Carretera Troncal del Norte.

Judicial and police authorities arrived at the scene to carry out the removal of the body, which had been dead for approximately eight days.

The body was that of a woman and was already in an advanced state of decomposition, so rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de Aguilares removed it so that it could be taken to Legal Medicine to determine the cause of death.

In the area, local residents said they did not know the woman’s identity, and there was a missing woman.
