Peace bands enlivened the Mail parade.

Hundreds of rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador gathered very early near the Beethoven fountains, where the traditional Mail parade began. It traveled along the city’s main streets, announcing the start of the August festivities.

Comandos de Salvamento deployed brigades that were responsible for providing security to citizens and participants in case of any eventuality and for providing prehospital care.

Early this Saturday, August first, volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador waited for the arrival of the peace bands and floats with their queens to begin the traditional parade.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador is participating with approximately one thousand volunteers to respond to emergencies during the August vacation season, when first-aid stations are set up at the fairgrounds.

Likewise, members of Comandos de Salvamento will participate in the traditional Transfiguration of the Divine Savior of the World, patron saint of the capital’s residents.

In addition, they will be present at beaches, tourist centers, recreational centers, and the country’s main highways.
