This post is also available in: Spanish Norwegian Bokmål French Chinese (Simplified) Japanese

Last Saturday, August 8, the Doctors of the Americas arrived together with Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador in the Department of Sonsonate, where the second day of consultations and medication distribution was held.

From very early in the morning, residents of Colonia Sensunapán and the surrounding areas gathered at the community center, where the Doctors of the Americas set up their offices to provide care to more than two hundred people who were waiting for help with a health problem.

Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador set up its pharmacy to distribute the medications prescribed by the Doctors of the Americas team and the Comandos de Salvamento physicians who support the medical campaigns.

Women, elderly people, and infants suffering from an illness benefit from this, and thanks to the health professionals who make up the Doctors of the Americas team, they receive consultations and medicine free of charge.

Next Monday, the physicians from the United States of North America will travel to the municipality of Alegría, where several communities have already been selected whose residents will receive the benefit of the consultations.
