TRAGEDY IN INTEGRACIÓN LEAVES TWO DEAD AND SEVERAL INJURED

This morning, a new tragedy involving a dump truck that suffered mechanical failure left one woman dead, several people injured, and around 14 vehicles damaged.

The incident occurred around nine in the morning, when a dump truck traveling from west to east along Bulevar Integración reportedly suffered brake system failure, hitting several vehicles traveling through the area.

A woman died after being struck by the dump truck, while other people suffered injuries. Minutes later, a 30-year-old man lost his battle at a medical center due to the severity of his injuries.

Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador deployed several ambulances to respond to the emergency in the area, where people still trapped inside their vehicles, destroyed by the heavy vehicle, had to be rescued.

So far, more than seven victims have been counted and transported to different medical centers by Comandos de Salvamento and other rescue organizations.

Members of the Cuerpo de Bomberos arrived to extinguish the flames from several vehicles that caught fire after the impact.

Around 14 vehicles were affected in this unfortunate traffic accident. A motorcyclist was thrown into the opposite lane, suffering serious trauma and being admitted to a hospital.

At this time of the morning, the passage of vehicles through the area remains closed due to the severity of the traffic accident.
