WORKER DIES FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK IN SAN MARTIN

A man died Sunday afternoon while carrying out repair work on the roof of a home in Colonia Lourdes, San Martín.

Comandos de Salvamento, San Martín branch, were alerted that the person had received an electric shock while repairing the home’s roof.

However, the rescuers determined that the person no longer had vital signs, so they proceeded to call the Comandos de Salvamento Rescue Unit and members of the Cuerpo de Bomberos de El Salvador to bring the deceased down to ground level.

Minutes later, the rescuers and Bomberos managed to lower the worker so that he could be identified by the judicial and forensic authorities for the legally required examination.
