ROUTE 19 DRIVER SAVES YOUNG PASSENGER’S LIFE

On Sunday afternoon, passengers on Route 19 were alarmed when a young man began convulsing during the collective transport unit’s trip through downtown San Salvador.

The Route 19 driver diverted from his usual route to take him to the central headquarters of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, located on 9ª. Calle Oriente near Centenario Park.

Comandos de Salvamento rescuers provided assistance to the victim inside the minibus and subsequently removed him and took him to a medical center for evaluation.

The action of the Route 19 driver, who travels from San Salvador to Soyapango, was applauded by the other passengers, since thanks to his humanitarian act the young man was able to receive assistance and is awaiting his recovery.
