COMANDOS PROMOTING INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS

This post is also available in:

The Public Relations and Press Unit of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, led by Laura Dimas, held the “Interpersonal Relationships” Workshop, conducted by psychologists Héctor Vásquez and Katherine Díaz, and sponsored by Norwegian Popular Aid (APN). The workshop was aimed at the institution’s volunteer rescuers. Our branches in San Martín, Apopa, Nejapa, Zaragoza, Ayutuxtepeque, Aguilares, and Base Central participated in this event.
Forty-five young men and women participated in the workshop held at Base Central. The objective is to provide volunteers with tools for assertive communication, conflict management, and empathy to strengthen teamwork and improve the dynamics of aid and rescue brigades in minor or major emergency situations.
All received a certificate of participation awarded by the Board of Directors and the Executive Directorate. In this way, most of the schedule for these workshops has been completed, with the bases in the eastern part of the country and one more in the west still pending.
