The events celebrating the 204th anniversary of national independence were eagerly awaited by thousands of Salvadorans who arrived at the Alameda Roosevelt from the early hours to watch the student parade and the parade of government entities, as well as the Armed Forces.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador deployed several ambulances at strategic locations along the parade route to provide assistance to people who might suffer from an ailment or sunstroke.

From the early hours, hundreds of volunteer rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador began their work, both in San Salvador and in the country’s various municipalities and major cities.

In the interior of the country, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, through its various delegations, participated in covering the departmental civic events, where they also provided more than one instance of prehospital assistance.

Salvadorans once again enjoyed the commemoration of national independence events with the capital’s parades, which began at the Monumento del Divino Salvador del Mundo and concluded in front of Parque Cuscatlán, where authorities from the Presidency of the Republic were located.
