Volunteers assisted people with health problems.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador were invited to take part in the Commerce parade with a float where volunteers’ children handed out candy among attendees at the colorful event, which departed from the monument to the Divine Savior of the World and continued to Parque Cuscatlán.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador also assigned nearly one hundred fifty volunteers to provide coverage along the parade route, with more than ten ambulances accompanying the different floats.

During the route, people who suffered ailments, as well as sunstroke, were treated.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador maintains its presence at the Fairgrounds outside Estadio Cuscatlán, where people who have suffered falls are treated, assisted, and cared for at the first-aid station.

In addition, for next August 5, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador will assign nearly 200 rescuers for the traditional Descent of the Divine Savior of the World, which will depart from Basílica del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús and travel along the main streets of San Salvador.

During the Descent, approximately 20 ambulances will be stationed around Plaza Barrios in front of Catedral Metropolitana, where the transfiguration of the patron saint of Salvadorans takes place.
