Hundreds of young volunteers, including responders, rescuers, nurses, paramedics, and doctors from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, have begun the @alertacomando #SalvaTuVida Rescue Operation, which begins this Palm Sunday and concludes on Easter Sunday.

From early morning, the volunteers arrived at their stations to be assigned coverage areas, both on the highways, where they will set up first-aid posts, and at the country’s various tourist resorts and recreational centers, with the objective of providing safety for vacationers enjoying the Holy Week season.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador will also participate in the various religious and Christian events to ensure the well-being of the worshippers attending the season’s activities.

On the country’s main highways, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador will deploy vehicle-rescue units staffed by personnel specialized in operating hydraulic machinery to free people in the event they become trapped in traffic accidents.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador has launched a campaign to raise awareness among domestic and foreign vacationers so that they respect traffic regulations and avoid traffic accidents, as well as heed the instructions of lifeguards at the country’s beaches and tourist resorts.
