Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador were alerted this afternoon by the owners of Bruno, the canine, who had been found inside a well where a septic tank will be built in Cantón San Roque, on the slopes of the San Salvador volcano.
Bruno’s owners said that the canine disappeared in the early hours of the morning after they heard him chasing some cats in the area. At dawn, they searched for Bruno but he did not appear, and it was not until midday, after searching, that he was found at the bottom of the well where a septic tank is being built.
The volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, from the Apopa branch, went to Cantón San Roque, verified that two-year-old Bruno was not aggressive, and proceeded to rescue the canine, who had no injuries of any kind.
After being placed on solid ground, he was handed over to his owners, who thanked the rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador for the gesture.
