The Board of Directors and Executive Directorate of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador recognized the great spirit of humanitarian service of their volunteers, who supported the red alert decreed by the Government of President Nayib Bukele during the rainy season that affected the country last June.

Roberto Cruz, Executive Director of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, thanked each of the more than 100 emergency responders and rescuers who remained on their shifts to cover the red-alert emergency. “For us, it is a privilege to have these volunteers who dedicate their efforts to serving the Salvadoran people at the moments when they are most needed.” Thank you, young people, for your hard work.

The Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador thanked Visión Mundial, Ayuda Popular Noruega, and Protección Civil Municipal de San Salvador for their support. They donated part of the food supplies and other incentives that were given to the young volunteers.
