Evacuations continue.

Early Monday morning, three more people lost their lives after the severe storms that have affected the country in recent days.
The tragedy occurred in Tacuba, Ahuachapán, where Luis Ernesto Godínez Guzmán, 23; Jennifer Yamileth Godínez, 7; and Estuardo Vladimir Godínez, 18 months, died after being buried in their home when a wall collapsed. The bodies of the deceased were recovered by the PNC.
Meanwhile, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, Nejapa branch, carried out preventive evacuations in the vulnerable sector to take people to shelters and thus prevent tragedies, since the rains could continue in the coming hours.
Among the communities that have been evacuated are Patacones, where 10 people were removed; Américas, 13 people; El Nance, 2 people; Jabalí #2, 3 people; Cedral, 4 adults; and Los Angelitos #1 and #2, where 23 people have been taken to the shelter.
Branches in the eastern part of the country have provided assistance with the removal of trees that gave way under the force of the winds and obstructed access routes to the communities.
The Government of President Nayib Bukele has opened more than 100 shelters to receive people being evacuated from high-risk areas, thereby safeguarding the lives of Salvadorans.
Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, through its Executive Director, Roberto Cruz, states that its 30 branches will maintain the red alert system even though the rains have decreased in intensity in some parts of the country.
