LEGAL MEDICINE VEHICLE CRASHES, LEAVING TWO INJURED

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, Zacatecoluca branch, reports that this afternoon, at kilometer 55 of the new highway from Zacatecoluca to San Salvador, the driver of a vehicle owned by the Institute of Legal Medicine was involved in an accident, leaving its occupants injured.

The traffic accident occurred on Jalponga Bridge, in the jurisdiction of Santiago Nonualco, in the Departamento of La Paz.

According to the vehicle driver, who was identified as Luis Gerardo Calles Morales, 45, they were coming from the Departamento of La Unión, where they had carried out a series of activities.

However, upon reaching the bridge, the unit’s front tire burst, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and leave the roadway, falling into a ditch.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador rescuers from the Zacatecoluca branch arrived at the traffic accident site, where they provided pre-hospital care to the two occupants of the Legal Medicine unit.
