Car crashed onto the roof of a home from a height of 5 meters in Comunidad Modelo.

Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador were alerted tonight about a car that crashed onto a home in Comunidad Modelo 2, in San Salvador.

The volunteers traveled to the highway from Hermano Lejano leading to San Marcos, at the location of Comunidad Modelo 2, where a woman who was driving her vehicle lost control and fell from a height of 5 meters onto the roof of a home.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador removed the woman, who was still inside the car, and stabilized her because of the injuries she suffered after falling down the ravine and ending up on the roof of the home where the family was resting.

The victim was identified as Karen Ivon Calderón, 42, who had back injuries, making it necessary to transport her to Hospital Saldaña, in Los Planes de Renderos.

The vehicle only caused damage to the roof of the home and the pila where it landed, and none of the residents were in that section of the house.

Karen Ivon Calderón is treated by a rescuer from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador.
