Lifeguards from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador are training their personnel to provide better service during the Semana Santa season, which begins on Saturday, April 1.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador has secured the donation of an inflatable boat that will be ready to respond to emergencies in the waters of Lake Ilopango during the vacation season.

The boat, donated thanks to altruistic individuals who know and value the work of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, will be available during the Semana Santa season. This will make it possible to provide better rescue services to people who suffer aquatic emergencies.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador will have its volunteer personnel stationed at beaches, recreation centers, swimming resorts, and highways, where the best hydraulic equipment will be available for vehicle rescue operations.

In addition, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador will begin emergency childbirth and venoclysis courses this weekend, which will form part of the training and instruction for the rescue personnel who will assist domestic and foreign tourists.
