Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador responded this morning to a traffic accident on the Pan-American Highway near the area known as Casa Blanca, close to Ciudad Arce, which left five people injured.
Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador had to use ambulances from Zapotitán and Ciudad Arce to evacuate the injured, four from the pickup truck and one from the cargo truck.
During the Christmas and New Year festivities, the number of traffic accidents has left several people dead and injured, who have been admitted to different healthcare centers.
In response, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador urges the public to respect speed limits, avoid distractions while driving, and not overtake in places where there may be good visibility. In addition, use seat belts and do not consume alcoholic beverages.
Motorcyclists are urged to respect traffic lanes, since the number of accidents involving motorcyclists themselves is increasing due to invasions of the central lane of the roadways.
In case of emergency, call 2133-0000.
