Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, Sensuntepeque branch, were alerted at around half past three on Sunday afternoon that a young man who was playing a soccer match had fainted during the game.
The volunteers arrived at the field in Caserío Los Trozos, Cantón San Lorenzo, in Sensuntepeque, Cabañas, but upon examining the young man, they determined that his vital signs were unresponsive, so they proceeded to administer Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, seeking to reverse the condition. However, despite the efforts of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, the young man had lost the battle.
Kevin Alejandro Moreno, 16, had died from cardiorespiratory arrest while playing a match in Cantón San Lorenzo; friends and family could not believe what had happened. Comandos de Salvamento de Sensuntepeque requested the assistance of the authorities to carry out the legally required identification and to hand the body over to his relatives.
