TRAGIC TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS OVER THE WEEKEND

Members of the Vehicle Rescue Unit of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador carried out several extrications during the early hours of Saturday and this Sunday.

One of the interventions in which hydraulic equipment had to be used to free the driver, who was trapped, took place on Bulevar Venezuela.

The victim of the traffic accident was identified as Juan José Martínez, who suffered several traumas, making it necessary to admit him to the Emergency Room of Hospital Rosales.

In addition, Comandos de Salvamento assisted a woman who suffered serious injuries after falling from a moving motorcycle in San Salvador. The incident occurred on Bulevar de Los Héroes.

On Carretera Panamericana, at kilometer 39 and a half, 4 people who suffered traumas when the vehicle in which they were traveling crashed were assisted.

The victims included a minor and three adults, who were taken to FOSALUD in Ciudad Arce and the Zapotitán Health Unit.

On Saturday, members of the Rescue Unit and Medical Unit of Comandos de Salvamento worked to free the driver of a minibus that collided on Alameda Juan Pablo II in front of a shopping center, where two people were injured.
