The Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento delivered special equipment to brigade leaders to improve patient care in emergency situations.
The first-aid kits delivered to the emergency medical leaders or technicians contain essential equipment for taking patients’ vital signs in emergency situations handled daily by young volunteers.
“We are making an effort together with the Board of Directors and Norwegian Popular Aid to provide these indispensable pieces of equipment for our personnel,” said Roberto Cruz, Executive Director of Comandos de Salvamento.
This modernizes part of the work equipment on each daily shift so that patients can be helped in a better way, said Ezequiel Ramírez, brigade leader and part of the liaison with the Medical Emergency System, SEM.
Now, Comandos are ready to provide better care on Christmas Eve.
