WOMAN SUFFERS RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS IN BUS FIRE

A route 306 bus traveling from San Salvador to Santa Rosa de Lima caught fire around noon last Tuesday on the Pan-American Highway near Puerto El Triunfo, Usulután.

Comandos de Salvamento and the Cuerpo de Bomberos arrived at the scene to contain the fire in the public transportation vehicle, but it was impossible, as the flames spread rapidly and completely consumed the vehicle.

An elderly woman suffered respiratory problems, making it necessary to transport her to a nearby medical facility in a Comandos de Salvamento unit.
