Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento of Ciudad Arce were awarded the Protección Civil Medal granted by the Municipal Commission of that municipality in its seventh edition.
The young volunteers honored were Josué Daniel Gómez, Andie Alexander Guardado, Cristian Alexander Rivas, and Javier Enrique Román, men who dedicate their work every day to benefiting the population in emergency situations.
However, it should be noted that the Municipal Protección Civil Commission saw fit to recognize the work of rescuer Maribel Abigail Echegoyen Medonza, for the arduous work and sacrifice she undertakes in order to devote part of her valuable time to serving Comandos de Salvamento.
The Mayor of Ciudad Arce, Francisco Morán, recognized and thanked the work carried out by the volunteers of Comandos de Salvamento and other institutions, who are on the front line confronting the COVID 19 pandemic.
Roberto Miranda, Delegate of Comandos de Salvamento in Ciudad Arce, highlighted the efficient work and communication maintained with the authorities of Municipal Protección Civil in order to provide better service to the population. Despite the crisis caused by the pandemic, support from the municipality and the willingness to confront emergencies have always existed.
