COMANDOS AND BOMBEROS QUELL FIRE IN JUAYÚA

Around noon, rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador and personnel from the Cuerpo de Bomberos extinguished a fire at a home in Caserío Los García, in Cantón San Juan de Dios, in the Municipio of Juayúa, Departamento of Sonsonate.

The fire completely consumed the home belonging to Mr. Juan Francisco García Beltrán, 48, who, due to the lack of water, was unable to control the flames that ultimately destroyed his humble home.

The rescuers and Bomberos fought the flames with hoses and removed the debris, managing to rescue some belongings belonging to the owners.

The losses amount to nearly ten thousand dollars, as basic grains, some household appliances, and parts of the infrastructure, which was made of sheet metal and wood, were consumed.
