Three construction workers were rescued by Comandos de Salvamento after a wall collapsed.

Three construction workers came close to dying after being buried Tuesday afternoon in Barrio El Calvario in the city of Sensuntepeque, in the Departamento of Cabañas.

Rescuers and Emergency Responders from Comandos de Salvamento and other institutions went to the scene of the tragedy, where the workers were laying a foundation when a wall collapsed on them, leaving half of their bodies trapped among the rubble.

For several minutes, the volunteers struggled to free the workers so they could provide them with prehospital assistance. One of them had to be taken to a medical center for a checkup, while the other two were diagnosed with no injuries.

Comandos de Salvamento and other institutions participated in the rescue of the victims.
